Reviews 06: Gmarket Korea

OMG! MIA-ed for about half a year again! It's been a worst semester of uni life, it's upsetting. :(

Oh well anyway, my skin suffered a lot, and it was practically errr, 'rotting'? Haha! Did a lot of research on the net, tried on several counter brands (Estee Lauder, in particular) and found one that suited me best - Laneige (I have super dry skin). It's a Korean skincare-makeup brand that is very popular, with Song Hye Gyo as the ambassador.

I grabbed several samples for the White Plus Renew line, but did not decide to get them in SG counters, as that will amount to about S$300+. T___T

SO! Turning to GMarket Korea again, below are the items which I've gotten, and they amount to less than $200. :)

Just a small update on myself haha! I've been using all my korean brand cosmetics (generally gotten from GMarket Korea).

Again, it took about 1 week for all domestic shippings to be completed, and another 2-3 days till the arrival of the parcel at my doorstep.

So, as usual......

I won't be talking about what the others' bought, so what's left would be these...

Laneige White Plus Renew Night Cream

1. Laneige Multiberry Peeling Gel (Retailing at $42, got it at around $30)

I've tried this item, and it really brightens up the overall complexion! Doesn't really remove blackheads and whiteheads though. It has a veryyyy strong berry yoghurt scent, and is very thick as well.

The seller shipped the item fast, and comes with bubble wrap too.

2. Laneige White Plus Renew Essence (Retailing at $88, got it at around $50)

Arghh, essences are usually the most expensive item along the product lines. Anyway, this is reallllly good, gives a very snowy-cool feeling, and prepares the skin for creams. This is from the same seller as the gel above.

3. Laneige Snow BB Cream in No. 2 Natural (Retailing at $49, got it at around $38)

Hmm, unfortunately the coverage's not up to my expectations. Don't expect it to cover up pores and acne scars. I usually mix it with a tinge of my Hera HD Foundation (check out Reviews 05), and it becomes perfect. It's moisturizing and gives a brightening effect as well.

4. Laneige Pore Cleansing Essence (Retaining at $40+, got it at around $38)

Hmm, pore tightening products usually don't show any effects till a later date, but this too, is not oily, and does not cause any irritation to skin. It doesn't clog pores as well, but regarding the effects, it's still too early to tell.

5. Laneige White Plus Renew Eye Mate (Retailing at $58, got it at around $40)

As with pore tightening products, eye products requires the use of a duration of at least 2 weeks to show the effects. This item is similar to Estee Lauder's Idealist Skintone Illuminator, just that it's meant for the eyes with SPF12, PA++. Overall, it has a brightening effect too.

6. Laneige White Plus Renew Night Cream (Retailing at $68, got it at around $40)

Lilin & co bought me the Day Cream of this line, as it's not available in Korea. :(

This is one of the best creams I've ever used, thick and creamy, but not oily, and my skin is great at absorbing it! Results show within a week of use. :) Must be used with essence.

So basically that is all for my Laneige haul from GMarket Korea! Very very satisfied with the delivery speed and parcel packing, as usual. Haha!

July 29th, 2011.

Big hammy had been with me for 2 years and 9 months, not a very long time, but not a very short time too.

All along, she has been very healthy, very fat, no health problems at all - a happy, healthy little baby girl.

But one has to grow old, the same goes to my precious girl. Unlike her sister, she led a far more happy life.

I neglected her when I had to take good care of Xiao Hammy. But when she left, I knew I had to repay what I owed Big hammy from then on. I devoted all my time and love to her, and I know she knows it too.

Slowly, she became very weak, fur dropping, weight dropping, her eyes became smaller, limbs became so much weaker.

Yesterday, I woke up countless times at night, to make sure she's upright and alive. Today, she's so weak she couldn't move much. I had a feeling something was wrong. I went out, for 4 hours as planned. Before I left, I prayed to heaven, please take good care of her for me, for half a day.

Heaven agreed, Big hammy's a good girl, she waited for me to come home. I knew I couldn't go for dance, else I would regret all my life, indeed.

When I ran home, I see her dull eyes, I hoped she could leave soon, just so that she wouldn't be painful. I rather I feel the pain than her. She was in her favourite house, waiting for me to come home. I used my finger to brush her body and pat her as she struggled a little, squealed twice as if she was saying goodbye, i love you. She left. 5 minutes were all it took.

Big hammy, my little girl, I know that you knew everything - what I felt towards you and what I hoped. You waited for me to come home, you struggled to stay alive just to let me see you one last time. You knew everything, and you were the greatest.

I will never ever forget you, just like how I love your sister, I love you so much too! Both of you brought so much happiness into my life, I hope I did so to you too. You are more than precious to me.

Go find your little sister and the goddess, live in a place full of cotton balls, without pain and run freely. I will never forget all that we shared, ever.

Sleep well little girl, you will, and always be part of me, just like your little sister.

Feeling like lost time, lost days. HAHA! May 30th is approaching, hopefully i'll feel relieved after that day, and will be able to continue enjoying my holidays. ><

Many many things happened during the time when I MIA-ed. I found a lot of hope, a lot of memories and a lot of happiness amidst some unhappiness.

I learnt not to be so judgemental, perhaps I could accept people for who they are despite changes. We all have our lives to lead too, but no matter what, the decade we spent together do mean something right?

We went through a lot these few months, but if we are really true, we can do it de (:

I won't change my habit of MIA-ing from all these people's lives during school terms. HAHAHA! But I <3<3<3 you guys ok HAHAH!

I've MIA-ed for the past half a year due to school. A super hectic semester, yet not-so-fruitful. I pray for the best on 30th May, hopefully everything turns out well :(

So here's my latest batch from GMarket Korea, with a total of 43 items ordered.

I bought mainly shoes and cosmetics this batch, concentrated on things which I would still definitely use even during school days, while others bought a combination of accessories, shoes and bags. Baby bought a bag too!

Waiting time was relatively fast, and the US-SGD exchange rate was really low!

As usual. This time i'm smart enough to have a list of the transaction codes and items for easy identification haha! The tall tall pile on the right's mine. LOL.

First up, Etude House Face Colour Corset - No.2 Lavender Pit

It's relatively hard to find an inexpensive matte blusher (which i desperately lack). Shu Uemura's retailing a single pit at around SGD30? I got this Etude's one at SGD10+ after trying out the colours at Etude's retail show hahah!

TonyMoly Partylover Cake Eyebrow - No.2 Khaki Grey

After I dyed my hair on the last day of exams, I got back home to realise a brown eyebrow looks exceptionally weird on me. T__T Mum only has a grey colour, which doesn't suit me, so here's it! TonyMoly's retailing at SGD20+, and again I got this at SGD10+. Comes with cutesy samples which I do not use. LOL.

Banila Co. The Secret Marbling Highlighter - No.2 Pleasure

Err, seems like i'm attracted to items that are numbered 2. Lol. I wanted M.A.C's mineralize skinfinish, but it's a whopping SGD46, so I got this instead. Read many many many reviews which said it wasn't pigmented, and has a nice sheen. Haven't tried it yet, but it looks great! This isn't cheap too, but not as tough as M.A.C's - SGD30.

Hera HD Foundation (Moist) - No.21 Natural Beige

My long-awaited Hera HD Foundation!!! When it arrived I was like OMG! HAHA! This was very much raved by the Korean market, I haven't tried it, as usual. But I swatched it on my hand, the colour blends well (cause i'm quite yellow), and it's really fragrant and smooth!

This is an expensive one - SGD40. Worth the money though.

Colorborn Package - BB Cream (No. 21) + Multi-Purpose Powder (Pink) + Highlighter (Silver Beige) + Lipgloss (Orange)

Apparently I received many many free gifts! The full-sized mascara was free, and I received a free sample tub of the BB cream (the exact same one I have), and a free sample tub of the highlighter in pink. Both the mascara and lipgloss was for mummy, the rest for me! :D

Not to forget, the Magic Silky BB Cream and the Highlighter. Both has really smooth textures by the way!

Here comes the shoes! Hmmm, previously I bought a strapped wedge at Size 230, which was rather tight on me, (i'm a Euro 36) so this time i decided to get them at Size 235 instead. (FYI, Size 230 was seemingly to be Euro 35). But out of 3 pairs, 2 pairs in 235 were a tad too big. =.= I had to put insoles instead. T__T

Ruched Corsage Pumps in Nude

The corsage is detachable! :D

Ruched Wrap Heels in Indie Pink (7cm)

This was very special because I get to choose the height of the heel! I'm really sick of 9cm/12cm heels. They're really uncomfortable to walk long hours in, or perhaps it's just my problem. But this option was really a steal! 7cm's great for me, and this pair is hand-made, it's super comfy!

Sweet Enamel Heels in Nude Beige (Round Edge 6cm)

This is another pair from the same seller as the above ruched wrap heels. I get to choose the type of edge (round or pointed), and the height of the heels again. I figured rounded edge's more casual, and a 6cm fits me well on school days too. YAY! Again, it's hand-made, comfy comfy!

Kim Tae Hee (My Princess)-inspired Hairband in Indie Pink

E.L.F Eye Blending Brush

Yuxuan bought a hairband of similar type previously, and I was tempted to get it so I got one this time! Gorgeous!

A blending brush is retailing at SGD7.90 at Sasa, but this was about SGD4+ or SGD5, not much of a difference, but why not save the penny? Haha! Foundation brushes were out of stock though. >:(

These are all I have! Not a tad too many, but i'm ordering more in June heh!

And if everything turns out well on May 30th (which I really hope ><), then perhaps i'll really get MORE. LOL!

Got to know a dramatic event which happened on the 28th Jan 2011 yesterday, at XW's party.

I don't really catch the news, but Eugin passed away about a month ago, in a camp accident.

He was one whom always smiles and waves when I said hi to him in campus.

It's kind of sad, to know that he has achieved so much, but left too soon.

Rest in peace, Eugin, your family will definitely be taken care of too.

63: Pudding, Potato, Muffin and Pudding~

Went over to Vivocity with baby to get my AE Cheryl Cole Cardigan in NAVY (sold my cream one to get this TEEHEE)! The first moment i saw it i was quite disappointed, the navy fabric seemed so errrr, furred? Not very nice. But the white stripes are so much more nicer than the cream's navy stripes =.=

Commented for AE's Tailored Cropped Blazer in Grey and i got it!!! HOHOHO :P Waiting for it to come~~

Anyway, was exploring the digital scrapbooking stuff so i made our pictures yesterday into this:

Baby made a lot of things for me to eat over the past week! :P First was the milk pudding and the stuffed mushrooms potato. Then it was the muffins with my favourite super sweet butter-cream icing! Lastly was the bread pudding! :P:P

Ok, let me give scores:

Milk Pudding (forgot to take pic): 4/10 (BABY YOU FAIL!!! Because if not chilled the pudding is water! And not sweet enough! MUAHAHAHA)

Stuffed Mushrooms Potato: 6/10 (TOO MUCH ONIONS!!!!!) :P

Muffins with Butter-Cream Frosting: 8/10 (Muffin is a bit dry, and not sweet enough! But not bad, with superb frosting! HEHEEH! And they look pretty pretty!)

Bread Pudding: 8/10 (TOO BIG PORTION! If it's small small portion then it would be more appetizing :P)

Heheh, just for fun! :D But anyway, baby i know you put in a lot of heart and effort into making these for me :) Love you many~ :D

62: Skinfood Omija!!!

Met up with a seller to get the Skinfood Omija Series' Teabag Toner and Whitening Spot Cream! :D:D:D

Both have manufacturing dates in August 2010. The toner is priced at $43.80, and the spot cream (for mummy, not me. lol) at $58.80.

I HAD SUPER LOTS OF FUN TRYING TO 'BREW' THE TONER LOL!

The colour gets darker after 'brewing' for about 1minute, and gets ever darker after shaking.

Sian, being stressed by this and that I have super dull skin :(

And bidding my SSB2212 now, 100 vacancies but 86 already filled.

I guess i'll have to show-hand my 735 G Points T____T

New Year Resolution 2011

LOL!! Bro's gf was talking to me about hair-care etc yesterday night, and I went to search for some suitable skin products for baby together with him today, and then I was looking at all my make-up and skin-care stuff. I started thinking, hmmm maybe I should try out that New Year Resolution thing too! :D

So......... Here's mine! :D

*Ok lah, I'm very free now so make nice nice lor HEHEH!*

For those of you who are wondering what the hell are "A-Ts", please consult a Singaporean NUS SoC student. (:

1. Use my Essential Hair Masks everyday.

Hoho, I think Essential and Biore are the best innovations from Kao (yes, if you haven't know it, both are under the same company)! When I still had my permed hair, Essential Hair Masks and Hair Lotions are what that keeps my hair look-able. Since my hair was like a lioness, I hardworking-ly used it every other day. But I have much shorter hair right now and it is look-able even after i wake up, I'm getting super lazy to use it so often ><.

2. Use my Sleeping Packs everyday.

The Faceshop sleeping mask and the Laneige Sleeping Pack EX are raved by many. Spent like $80 on them? Shouldn't be lazy ><.

3. Maintain my table as it is.

Even though I mastered the skill of "one-ear-in-one-ear-out" to counter my papa, it is wise to keep it as neat as possible (neat as in my definition. :P).

4. Maintain my CAP.

Heaven has been really good to me so I don't wanna waste the chance. Heh.

5. Help baby pull CAP.

Though he has to do it himself, maybe I can help a little~!

6. Change Hammy's bedding every 1.5 weeks.

Big Hammy is already 2 years and 4 months old, she's an old ah ma! Doctor Chan says big hammy is now more intolerant to dust and dirt, to keep her eyes less sensitive and to keep her healthy I must do it!!! (But her odour-free beddings are expensive TT)

7. Do my leg exercises daily.

During the after-A-levels duration, CJ helped me maintain my thighs. BUT! Since I was busy with school, no more dance for exercising.. T___T

8. Not to express excessive dislike towards the A-Ts.

At the very least they helped occupy the Bs and Cs places so I got an A even though i left almost 25% of the paper blank! TEEHEE!

Okay, I hope I can achieve them. I hope. I try. HOHO.

Thinking about IS2101, i need more formal wear! So apart from searching online, i decided to give retailers a chance. So i went over to Tampines 1, Citylink, Marina Square and Suntec City in search for a not-so-expensive (imo, $30?) and nice white formal top.

BUT.

RETAILERS SIMPLY DON'T GRAB THEIR CHANCE! Why must everything be so freaking expensive. =.= What a x'mas eve huh.

Anyway, i grabbed my Navy Chiffon Overlay Maxi Dress from a retailer! Guess what, KissJane - a blogshops-compiled retail shop. HAHAHA. In the end, i still got it online - indirectly.

I'll see if i have a chance to wear it before school starts, then i'll do a review teehee! :D

I was so busy for the first semester in uni and finally it comes! It's a combination of 3 batches this time!

I bought only a total of 8 items, with one on behalf of Huiyu, 1 as a present for Leshi's birthday, and a cardigan together with a watch for baby.

Again it arrived with Speedpost, with the postman saying "Whoa, what is this ah? Very heavy ah!"

I had to dragggg it into my living room as it was too heavy. =.=

And of course, the parcel was again very much bigger as compared to the previous one.

So on the right was all the others' parcels and on the left is mine. (:

First up, MY ALMIGHTY PURPLE MACBOOK CASING! OMG OMG OMG!

I was literally screaming while i unpacked this hahah (i was webcam-ing with baby)!

Moshi is retailing it for SGD80, I got mine at around SGD36+.

It fits perfectly and its TOTALLY STUNNING! XD

QUARTZ WATCH FOR BABY!

This is super cheap as compared to what you get in Singapore, with the same amount. The straps are of great quality, and not to mention the watch itself too!

Price cannot be disclosed! :P But it's definitely under SGD20.

Met up with my loves - Huiyu & Leshi back in secondary school days!

It's been about 1 year since we last met, and thinking about what we've gone through since secondary school, everything passed so quickly.

Chatted about our lives now, Leshi's doing well in Uni, Huiyu's doing well in her last year of poly life too! :D:D kudos~

I still think true friends are hard to come by as we age.

And friends - we don't need to have too many as well. (:

I've lost some besties whom i've really treasured due to... hmm... perhaps very different lifestyles and values?

But thinking about that, i still have those whom i still love as much :D

And in uni now, it's hard to avoid competition and all, but thanks to some peeps, i've met good people in uni too! :D

That means, I have NOTHING to do this one whole week.

Eh, a Studio Finish Concealer at $27. I think M.A.C has 2 kinds of concealers, and this is the slightly more oil-free one with SPF 35. o.O

Baby bought me the Powerpoint Eye Pencil at $27 too, which definitely smudges like crazy without tapping loose powder, but stays on like glue once tapped. HAHA!

So with that I bought a Sharpener at $6 :D:D And it amazingly fits ALL my other eyeliner pencils too muahahaha. (I actually bought 1 eyeliner sharpener of some chapalang brand online at $1, and can't fit a single one =.=)

YAY~!

I seldom regret things that I do.
But now I really regret coming here alone and facing all these things..

What's the use of studying so hard?
These 3 months I haven't been at least once happy that I am here.

What's that bell-curve shit for?
Everyone wants that right long tail.
I only want the middle.
Even if I wanna get the middle one, must I give up so much and do so much to get it?

What's the use of people telling you it's easy?
To put you down.
So you end up protecting yourself against competition.

What's the CAP for?
Studying is no longer about exploring and learning.
But perhaps it is to kill you.
Even if you learn, but others learn so much better, CAP low, no job, no $?

So why can't everyone do it?
Because not everyone is as smart, and they don't have the same luck.
Most importantly you won't know what your lecturers want to do.

I have been studying for the past 12 years, the intensity is perhaps a steep increasing gradient.
And I'm still studying hard now, with greater intensity.
But do I feel happy? No.
Do I score? No.
Then?
I make myself feel like a failure.

So what are all these for?
I don't know.

Ah ong, if you attend one of my module's tutorial, you'll know how great Ms Quek is, or even how great Anees is. Anees is nothing as compared to my current tutorial mates. LOL.

Perhaps I do have a sense of biasness in me towards them, and very often, I do feel bad about it.

BUT I HAD THE WORST BLOODY HELL TUTORIAL TODAY, which, if I had a choice, I wouldn't attend it again.

Not to say that I have nothing much to learn from them, but clearly it's obvious - please organize your points IN YOUR HEAD first before you bloody hell blurt out every single word you think of in YOUR language and translate it into English, and then see a blank look on everyone else's faces.

It'll be cool if everyone is arguing, or rather it'll be acceptable. But if one is trying to clarify if a point of thinking is in the right path, that one is not trying to spur an argument, excuse me.

I hope there's actually a document called "Ethics in Tutorial Classes" published. =.= I googled it, but nothing related comes out.

So... The one who looks like a ghost is Nisa, the Eldest. Lol.

37: Ring Ding Dong~ 끝

Had my last session of SHINee's Ring Ding Dong today, was totally awesome (excluding my ding ding ding part T_T). Though I'm gonna miss my RDD mates much, we're all gonna become HUH mates next week. HAHAHA!

It's been about... 3 months since I've joined all of them, and these 3 months has been the best part of my life till date. :D

I remembered during the Open House, Celine told us something about them wanting to inspire others, and I think Jojo did that. Dance was never so interesting, exciting, or even easy with her. (: When Carmen asked me about joining the recital today I was reallyyyyy excited! I've never felt like that before, such that it's an important part of me now, and I'll never give it up haha! It's amazing though, I was a same-hand-same-leg person!

Well anyway, thanks everyone who walked this journey with me, especially my RDD mates! Love ya guys Corridors! (: I'll never forget our RDD memories!

And I'll make sure I do as well for 4Minute's HUH! :D

K.Mi Face Primer + Pudding BB Cream

I think this is totally fantastic! Excluding Etude House's Balm BB Cream, I've never seen any pudding BBs in Singapore, and the touch is fantastic!

Comes with the application sponge + mini spoon! :D

PS. I haven't got the chance to use it, so I won't be wasting the cream this time, but Iswatched that little bit of it on my hand. :D

THE OMG OMG OMG REVLON CREME SHADOW IN TWILIGHT!!!

I searched high and low for cream shadows in Singapore but I totally have no idea where they are sold T__T Revlon didn't bring this into Singapore as well (probably due to SG's hot weather which makes it crease easily), I got it nonetheless. :D

Anyway, just a note to add. The above is the list of questions I've sent to both GMarket Customer Service and 2 of the sellers. HAHAHA

(judging from the number of questions and what they are about, I'm definitely not an easy customer :D)

But questions are answered within 24hours, which always puts me at ease!

However, just 1 disadvantage for oversea customers --> most sellers do not communicate in English. T__T Fortunately my questions were about the availability of the items, so I was able to ask in Korean. But should it be about some complex issues, GMarket Korea does not have a translator though.

So, for this second shipment, I would say that the prices for the items are better than the first shipment! The rest are still as perfect, except for the user-interface. Haha!

I've been MIA for about 2 weeks, ha!

Things have been going on rather smoothly in dance and all, but I'm rotting without school. ):

I finally bought my long-awaited Samsung ST550 Dual-LCD Camera at the IT fair last Saturday.

Guess what, I got the U.P $549 baby at $399 (WAHAHAHA), with two 8GB micro-SD sets, one 8GB Thumbdrive, two camera casings and an extra battery. HOHO!

The $399 was because I got it during the hourly special whereby only 5 sets are available. HAHA.

I got it in PURPLE!

And of course, some selcas straight after. :D

I just watched "The Murder Case of Itaewon" released in 2009, starring Jang Geun Suk!

It's based on a true case back in 1997, where this Korean university guy was killed by two American suspects at a Burgerking restaurant based in Itaewon, Seoul.

But the two suspects were not prosecuted due to lack of evidences.

Till now, the case is still unsolved.

I think all three main casts did a really great job!

YAY! I'm finally reviewing my virgin shopping experience with GMarket Korea (http://gmarket.co.kr) heh!

Starting with the ordering details:

I ordered together with Vanessa, with a total of 28 items from 20 different sellers. So the items came in 20 packets, in a large largeeeeee box like below!

It's really hugeeeee, and very very well packaged.

I was really afraid that the compressed shadows would shatter on its way to Singapore, so I contacted GMarket Korea regarding packaging! They responded within 30 minutes through the QnA system and assured me that there will be a refund should it be damaged! :D

It's really well packaged!

The colours are really pretty! I'll do a review on this eyeshadow soon, when I have the time. (:
FYI, I bought this item at about SGD14. It's retailing in Singapore (very limited stocks) at about SGD24!

Pearl Necklace with Pale Blue Corsage
I bought this item at about SGD8.50. Necklaces of such styles are retailing ranging from SGD10++ to SGD30+.

Comes with bubble-wrapping as well, the corsage is gorgeous! (:

NYCE's Spray-on Stockings (Medium Beige)
This item is selling at about SGD15 at GMarket Singapore, I got it at SGD7 (:

The price for this item is slightly on the high side, at about SGD17. Size M is a little loose for me at the shoulders, but the cut is great!

Beige Knitted Lace Cardigan
The quality of this cardigan cannot be put in words. You know how great it is! Comes with a ribbon strap waistbelt as well.

New York New York Tank Top in Sora
This piece is one of my favourites! It looks common at one look, but has a really great cut!

The colour gradients are perfect!

I have broad shoulders as compared to average females, and it's really hard for me to find a tank top that doesn't emphasize on my broad shoulders ):
But this piece is really one of a kind! :D:D

Ruched Buttoned Cardigan + Spag Set in Pink and Sora
The first time in my life, I bought 2 sets of apparels with identical designs but different colours. HAHAHA! Aren't those pastel colours sweet?
It comes in a set, both the spag and the cardigan can be separated! I got them at SGD23 each. Try searching for them in retail stores, you'll never see such prices on their retail tags.

Boston Leather Hat in Brown
My very first hip hop hat! The material is great, didn't really feel that warm while wearing though. Surprisingly it fits my head! XD

Flare Buttoned Shirtdress in White
California Wording Splatter Tee in Black
The shirtdress is a tad too expensive, at SGD28 (I haven't got a chance to wear it for a picture, sorry!), but the design and the cut looks great! I haven't seen a similar one in Singapore, so I got it anyway. (:

THE FIT IS GREAT! It's slimming effect is excellent!
One of my favourites as well.

Sorry for the messy hair, I was just done with Ring Ding Dong! XD

And lastly...

Tattered Acid-washed Jeans
I have to admit that this is cheap, only at SGD32.
I took a big risk, my thighs are not slim (sad), and it's really risky to buy jeans online without trying. Anyway, it fits me, just a little tight at the thigh part.

Just a small tip - to buy pants online, take your favourite pair of pants and follow its measurements! (:

Most importantly, I have 2 items which we out of stock (at the last minute), but I've already paid for them. GMarket Korea contacted me immediately, and the refund came in within 2 days! (: The shipping charges were overestimated as well, and the balance were kept as Gcash for next use!

Though I would prefer a refund, but at least they didn't 'eat' my money unlike some Taiwan sellers!

All in all, it was really a pleasant experience! GMarket Korea makes shopping from Korea easier as a transaction platform.

My first payment through Mastercard actually failed, and GMarket Korea reverted back to me regarding the issue almost immediately. Though my cash was held frozen for 10 working days (which was a torture), it was safely refunded as well. (:

However, I personally feel that it helps quite a lot if one is able to read Korean and understand some simple Korean vocabularies as the descriptions of the items are all in Korean.
Google Chrome helps a bit though, but not that much.
Otherwise, I would suggest turning to a spree organizer instead.

Had 2 sessions of dance, a regular hip hop one and a Ring Ding Dong one. WHOOOT!

It was seriously the best time of my life!

I first started dancing when I was 15, I guess I couldn't have imagined that I would love it so much now. (:

Had 1 hour of Ring Ding Dong self-practice after work today, trying to perfect the main chorus move. Heh.

All 5 of the SHINee members have different RDD dancing styles, I personally think Key's one was the best, he had the power, and the 'elastic' look (lol?) but I decided to pick up Minho's instead. HOHO! XD

*I practically did this for 1 whole hour, my waist hurts. T__T*
Anyway, look at the position of their hands, the position their head tilts and look, and if you happen to watch the MV, the power and the angle they sway their hips!All 5 are absolutely different!

I'm feeling real happy doing the things I've always wanted to do, and finally found something which I think, I love doing, at least for now. :D

21: Zuno Showcase 2010 (Feat. Xiah Junsu)

I went for the Zuno Showcase 2010, featuring Xiah Junsu from DBSK on Saturday! WHOOOOOT!

It was held at Sentosa's Resort World, at the one of the East Ballrooms. The venue was relatively small, but considering that it's just a showcase, I would say the venue's quite alright. (:

Alright now into the details.

My brother and I got our tickets, and our seats are labelled as A13 and A14 - First row, right in the center (in front of the performer). HAHAHA.

So I literally sat IN FRONT of Junho and Junsu when they were performing, and I was less than 5 metres away from them! O.o

That's not the only amazement before the performance started.

The Kim brothers' family seated beside my brother and I. *grins*

*Yes, I saw Junho and Junsu's 어머니, and some other relatives. I would suppose they're their aunts and cousin*

All in all, I GOT THE MOST PERFECT SEAT OF THE WHOLE BALLROOM! *laughs*

Before the performances started, photographers were taking pictures of my brother, and me.

*Yes, and me. Because I'm his sister. :/*

When the Kim family walked to their seats, members of fanclubs came offering them some cards with their fanclub details on it, and gave me and my brother some as well! (:

I think the white one looks incredibly cute with Junho and Junsu's Q-characters together! :D

So when the performance started, everyone screamed~~~ like hell, for some moments I couldn't hear anything (that explains how loud the screams were)!

And I thought Junho was seriously afraid and nervous when he first came out. HA! After which his performance was quite laudable as well! :D

THE BEST PART WAS JUNSU'S "THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL"!

To think that I've seen him in person, such that I could clearly see his face and all in about.. 2 or 3 metres of range? *claps*

Anyway, the both of them were gorgeous. (:

So I was busy snapping pictures while they were performing (their dancers looked fantastic as well, so I snapped a few for them. HEH!), but there were those photographers who kept taking pictures of me snapping pictures, I was a bit pai seh. =.=

I guess amongst all that were seated, PICTURES TAKEN BY ME WOULD BE THE BEST! (Cause I've got the best seat). HAHAHA.

Xiao Hammy - my most precious little hammy.

May 1st, 2009
Because of her playfulness, my carelessness, she fractured one of her little leg.

September 2009
A red lump starts to form on her, growing bigger and bigger each day.

December 2009
Her lump is 3cm in diameter, Doctor Chan confirms it's cancer and will not live long.

December 2009 - Early April 2010
She bravely held on to life happily with her lump shrinking smaller, eating all the delicious foods, playing with all the fun toys. She was a part of us, whereby everyone loves her as much as I do. She lived a life full of love and happiness.

Mid April 2010
Her cancer deteriorated, she was weak and lethargic, but was still strong as always.
She finally left peacefully on 18 April 8 odd in the morning. She was a year and seven months old.

Being just a little little hamster, she went through so so much, just to keep her little heart going.
I gave her my everything.. My love, my time, and even my friends.. Just because she was such a gift and such a precious little girl. I owed her too much.

These few months I've never been away from her for long, I felt that she feels happy, and somehow a spoilt princess.

These few nights I've been waking up every other 30min just to check that she's alright. She chose to leave at the time when I was sleeping, in between that interval. She was so strong that she could face it all by herself. I felt that she smiled when she went away.

My little princess, I believe you're in heaven now, a place without pain, without illnesses. A place filled with happiness, your favaourite cotton balls, and the goddess who've always looked after you.

Always remember, you've all along been the most precious one I loved, and will always love. I can never hug you to sleep or kiss you goodnight anymore, but the way I held your little body and the very special love and bond we share will never end.

Goodbye Xiao Hammy, you were, and will still be part of me.

13: Beast's Bad Girl

Today's the first dance lesson after 2 years! WAHAHAHA.
I'm not quite sure of the song probably because i was busy counting and saying "shit. wrong leg." HA, but I suppose it's Beast's Bad Girl.
Anyway, it was really fun with about 15 people in the class, and a guy who simply looks like DongHae from Suju LOL.
Well I guess i'm gonna get better by next week, and I enjoy it like $*#^&*$! :D

Right after lesson we went over to Seoul Yummy and had this kimchi thingy, and.... MY FAVOURITE 떡볶이!!! It was the most delicious fried rice cake i've ever tasted man! Much much much better than the one selling at Dongdaemun!

Went over to EHub Kbox on 17th March with Lilin, Xinwei, Yanfen and Kunda. We had the very special room with 2 LCDs, and cosy cosy seats! :D

Because it was so scary that day, and so so frightening when I almost became ineligible to apply for NUS, i made up my mind. If everything was so beautiful last time, I would certainly want my memories to stop at that moment when every single one had only innocence and pure relationships. I do hope that one day, I could relate to their lives again, and I look forward to it.
Thanks lilin, xinwei, yanfen, constance, kunda, yuxuan, guocong.. I can't imagine what life would be like without them. Perhaps I would still be crying over split milk by now, hah.

And now, Chapter 6 - University Life.

I'm glad 5th March wasn't the last day of my life.

I reached TPJC at around 1.48pm, hurried into the hall to avoid speaking to anyone else except my gang. Freaking school dragged and dragged, the analysis of results started only at 2.45pm. At around 3.30pm, results weren't released yet, my mum actually thought I scored badly and was hiding somewhere, crying. HAHA.

I'm glad, really glad. My efforts paid off, 1.5 years of no fun, no life, no nothing but lecture notes, papers, papers and more papers. Mdm Maswati went to the HQ, so Mr Low took over of 08S10 instead. The happiest moment of my life - I got commended! The fact that I was worried sick for the past 4 months, at that moment I just wanted to cry. HA! And of course, Lilin stood up after me, with a freaking 5As (technically it should be 6 inclusive of Higher Chinese).

I went into TPJC with a whooping L1R5 of 16 (yes, 16-4=12, i got in), I'll never forget how myself, Lilin, Constance, Guocong, Yuxuan slogged together for Project Work in JC 1, and how we endured staying in school till 9pm together with Xinwei and Yanfen for almost every single night since the end of Prelims in JC2. I suppose that was how i turned a 16 into an 84 *excited! :D*

Those were the best memories...

I love TPJC! ^^

Oh well, I'm contented! Hard work always pays off. (:

Went for dinner with the other 6 on Friday.

Though that idiotic irritating san had to leave early, we still missed him lah. :D
